Yes. All BLACK BVT products are cast in Smooth-On Dragon Skin 10 Medium — a platinum-cured silicone that is non-porous, phthalate-free, latex-free, hypoallergenic, and fully body safe. Platinum-cured silicone is considered the gold standard for body-safe adult products.

The key distinction in toy safety is platinum cured versus tin cured silicone, and non-porous versus porous materials. BLACK BVT uses only platinum-cured Dragon Skin — there are no compromises here.

Silicone can be cured (hardened) using different chemical processes. Tin-cured silicones use a tin compound as the catalyst — they're cheaper and widely available but can contain trace amounts of tin compounds and may degrade over time, releasing small amounts of chemical byproducts.

Platinum-cured silicones use a platinum catalyst. They are more expensive, more chemically inert, more durable, and considered the appropriate choice for body-safe applications. Smooth-On Dragon Skin is a platinum-cured product. It's what we use for every single cast.

Yes. Dragon Skin silicone is completely phthalate-free. Phthalates are a group of chemical plasticizers used to soften PVC and other cheap materials — they're a primary concern in low-quality adult products. Silicone does not require phthalates and Dragon Skin contains none.

Water-based lubricants only. Silicone-based lubricants can degrade platinum silicone surfaces over time, leaving them tacky or damaged. Oil-based lubricants are also not recommended as they are difficult to clean fully and can break down latex products.

Every BLACK BVT piece is cast individually when you place your order. We don't maintain pre-made stock. This means your piece is freshly made to your specifications — your size, your firmness, your colorway — rather than pulled from a shelf.

The tradeoff is production time. Allow 1–3 weeks from order placement before shipping. You'll receive a shipping notification with tracking when your order is on its way.

Current production time is 1–3 weeks. Standard colorways typically ship closer to the 1-week end. Custom colorway orders may take up to 3 weeks depending on pour complexity and current order volume.

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, and a shipping notification with tracking information when your order ships.

Yes. Custom colorway orders are available as a premium option at $15 additional on any piece. When you select "Custom Color" during the ordering process, you'll be able to specify your color preferences — base color, secondary color for marble/swirl pours, and any specific requests.

Custom pours are handmade and unique. No two will be identical. We'll make our best effort to match your specifications, but natural variation in hand-poured silicone is part of what makes each piece one of a kind.

Yes. All orders ship in plain, unbranded outer packaging with no indication of the contents. The return address will show "BVT LLC" — nothing more. Your bank or payment statement will also show a neutral description.

Free discreet shipping on all domestic (US) orders over $100. Standard flat-rate shipping of $8.95 applies to orders under $100.

International shipping is available to select countries. Rates are calculated at checkout. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or import taxes.

Due to the intimate nature of these products and the made-to-order production model, we do not accept returns or exchanges on used products.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will make it right — either with a replacement or a full refund.
